About redcurrant jelly!

Hello,
I'm having a little trouble with the redcurrant jelly from Delia's Complete cookery course and I wonder whether you can advise me.
I followed the recipe as far as pouring the redcurrant and sugar mixture into the sieve, where it promptly set! So now it won't drip through at all.
How can I rescue it?

The quick Eliza Acton recipe from cookery coarse with the stalks is temperamental so we’ve been testing a version using the same recipe but without the stalks. We have found that making it without the stalks, keeping the mixture very hot, and giving it the gentlest encouragement by sliding a spatula down the inside of the jelly bag, has produced beautiful redcurrant jelly. But unfortunately, we’ve not been able to do enough testing with this year’s harvest to be able to publish a revised recipe.
