

We have spice allergies in our family - cinnamon and allspice. Are you able suggest a mix of spices we can replace the mixed spice with in the classic Christmas cake and mince meat recipes that will still make it smell like Christmas when they’re baking and, more importantly, taste just as good?

I would try a mixture of the other ingredient s in mixed spice that you not allergic too - nutmeg, coriander, clove, mace and add some vanilla extract to the cake mix to replace the sweet fragrance of the cinnamon.
