

Hi Lindsey,
I made Delia’s creole Christmas cake last year which was amazing. I fed the cake brandy as I think you suggested in response to another question. This year, I was wondering whether I could make an additional mixture of the different alcohols (those from the recipe, used to soak the fruit) and use that to feed the cake? I would love to enhance all of the different flavours, or perhaps it might be a bit overwhelming ! Would love to hear your thoughts.

Yes, you can use a combination of the spirits. If you mix them together you can taste them to see if you like the flavour and add some more of your favourites if you want to adjust the flavour balance.
