Fan Oven Temperature

Many recipes only give one oven temperature. I have a fan oven. Are the temperatures given for a fan, or do I need to reduce them?

Hello,
All of Delia’s electric oven temperatures are intended for conventional top and bottom heat. If you only have the option of a fan setting you will need to reduce the oven temperature by 20 degrees.

P.S. If your baking classic Christmas cake I suggest 115C if it’s a fan setting.
