Homemade Hot Cross Buns
Now that Easter is only a matter of weeks, it's time to make Hot Cross Buns.
Sprouts and mince pies in December, turkey at Christmas, strawberries in the summer - there are certain ingredients and foods that only taste right at a particular time of the year - and hot cross buns are defintitely one of them. They just don't taste right in January when we first start to see them in supermarkets, it's like eating a satsuma in August. Wrong on so many levels!
