If I can't find Barley Wine

Hello there, I have been making Delia’s Christmas Pudding for years, always a favourite with my family. This year unfortunately I am unable to find Barley Wine. Please could you tell me what I can use instead. Thank you so very much.

Hello Tynna,

 
Morrison’s usually have it, but you can use strong dry cider or more of the stout or another strong ale.

Thank you for your reply. Our local Morrison’s does not have any stock. I will try with the strong dry cider. It is such a lovely recipe and keeps so well.
