Is there a guide for the weight of eggs?

I am very lucky to get very fresh very free range eggs from a neighbour. However they tend to be odd sizes. When baking is there a guide for the weight of eggs as opposed to number of eggs in a recipe ? Many thanks Suzie
Hello Suzie,
Nearly all Delia’s recipes use large eggs and this is what I would use if I had to calculate to amount by weight….
Large egg with shell 73g
Large egg without shell 65g
Large egg white only 43g
Large egg yolk only 22g
I hope that helps.
Kind regards
Lindsey
