Hi Lindsey
I follow Delia's recipes with great joy and anticipation, truly inspiring , but being recently diagnosed with diabetes I find it was not to be able to enjoy most of the recipes can you do a theme of diabetic friendly recipes by the way it's steroid enduced and nothing to do with being overweight or eating the wrong foods. I have lung problems with brittle asthma no one seems to cater for us. Thank you if you are reading this.

Hello James,
I’m sorry that many of the recipes that we have on our site are probable no longer suitable for you for every day, if made exactly as published.
There are several very good sites which have lots of information about living with diabetes. They have lots of recipes and lifestyle advice. There are also lots of books specifically developed with all considerations for people living with diabetes.
We do not have a specific collection of recipes for members living with diabetes, but we do have recipes that can be adapted to make them more suitable.
If you make diabetic suitable choices most of the time you will be able to allow yourself an occasional treat which you can look forward to.
Diet is a depressing label and it’s hard, but if you can think about all the foods like that you are allowed to eat and look to make dishes using these ingredients it will be a good start. Perhaps keep it simple to start. It all depends on what you like but for me something like instead of traditional fried fish and chips I might have smoked salmon with asparagus and wholegrain toast or pumpernickel bread.
If you have any specific Delia recipes that you think we might be able to help you adapt, please do let us know and we will do our best.
Kind regards
Lindsey
