The Cream cheese in Delia's Baked Vanilla Cheesecake

I’m making Delias baked vanilla cheesecake for a party. The recipe states to use “Full fat cream cheese” and I’m wondering exactly what that is. Is it Philadelphia cheese? I made a cheesecake using this once and it tasted just like Philadelphia and not very nice at all! Should I use something else?! Many thanks

Hello,
You can use that brand but if it’s not to your taste you can use curd cheese from a deli counter or a supermarket creamy soft cheese or full fat soft cheese or soft white cheese.
