Using beef instead of venison

Hello, as you responded earlier, I would like to use Silverside of beef instead of venison in the Braised Venison, Chestnut, Porcini Mushroom recipe and will follow the recipe method as for Venison. So my question is - may I use Silverside of beef and cube as I would the venison. Many thanks
