V-Cut - A method of removing pinbones by making a V-shaped cut along
both sides of the pinbone strip, leaving most of the nape.
Vein - Also called the sand vein.
The intestinal tract that carries waste from a shrimp's stomach along
the dorsal side of the tail for excretion. Deveining is done primarily
for the sake of appearance and texture. Lobster tails also have veins
that should be removed.
